Today is a day of reflection. As I sit in front of the wood stove with my warm cup of coffee looking out at the fresh fallen snow I can't help but think of all the great connections I have made in the past year. I have met and made friends, developed strategic business partnerships and learned so much about myself, my relationship with money and how to help others given the financial woes of our country. 2009 is not only going to be great, it is going to be sassy!
It was only this year that I learned to incorporate the word "sassy" into my everyday language. Who do I have to thank? The Sassy Ladies, of course. I met Wendy Hanson for the first time early in the year and just liked her right away. She was fun, smart and asked very powerful questions! This first meeting led to lunch at the Sassy Ladies headquarters, co-sponsored projects, a television appearance, an introduction to Kirsten Lewis, founder of LadyAdvisor.com and so much more. Working with Michelle, Miriam (someday I will see her live and in person) and Wendy has been a wonderful experience. Their collaborative spirit and desire to help small business women succeed is inspiring. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with them as the Sassy Approved Money Coach.
